On a bright note (so far), we adopted Dudley, a full-blooded, verifiable, certifiable, top-of-the-line Cocker Spaniel today. We got him mostly for a comapanion for Moxie. He's adorbable, housetrained (important)and loves playing with Moxie (very important). He's 3 yrs old in April, male (neutered) but since he's older and new in the house, has been trying to establish dominance over Moxie who is barely over 1 year old. Poor Moxie, 1/3 Dudley's size has a hard time (but he does defend his dignity) keeping Dudley from trying to get him pregnant. Dudley is neutered but he's so fuzzy, it's hard to tell and I'M not going to feel around back there just to find out! We think it's just a dominance thing he's trying to establish....or he's got tendencies I don't think midwest dogs should have.
My girlfriend (who also reads this blog, incidentally), just got a puppy. Who apparently got his poor puppy tongue stuck to something metallic in our harsh winter cold.
I laughed when she told me (just as I did when I saw the picture), but in the nicest POSSIBLE way. Poor doggies!
Oh Dear! I hope it wasn't that swivel vacuum thingy again! Poor pup. :(
ReplyDeleteUh-oh, this isn't looking good!
ReplyDeletePoor Hero looks miserable.
ReplyDeleteYikes, hopefully hero doesn't figure out how to escape the "E" collar like cooper did.
ReplyDeleteThose collars are dreadful.
ReplyDeleteUh ohhhh! Poor thing. Poor you.
ReplyDelete:( I'm sorry sweetie. Hero is much cuter without that plastic thingie, hopefully he'll be back to his charming self very soon!
ReplyDeletePoor Hero! :(
ReplyDeleteOH NO! I hope all is well.. or is getting better!?
ReplyDeleteOn the bright side....at least it's not YOU in the collar, right? Sorry to hear about the little guy.
