Home alone horrors

Are you wondering what would be the worst thing to do when your husband has left for Vegas for the weekend and you're home alone with a tendancy to get FREAKED THE HELL OUT? I'll tell you what not to do. Don't take a long hot bath and make the decision to shave your legs while you're in the tub. Don't get out of the tub and start to towel off without checking for nicks or cuts. Don't bleed all over the floor and the rug, so that when you look down all you see around you are bloody pools and streaks EVERYWHERE. Don't let your dog come into the bathroom with you, so that he licks your blood off the floor and then - when you scream in absolute horror about the RED DEATH SMEARED ALL OVER - looks up at you with a face full of bloody fluff!!! DON'T DO THAT - IT'S SERIOUSLY SCARY!

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

On the plus side, I can tell you one gal who doesn't have any need for anticoagulants.

Hahaha. I wish I had a bathtub big enough to take a bath in. I could probably wing it, but it wouldn't be comfortable. I'm a mess when j is on the road for work. And my dogs bark at everything so I always think someone is at the door. Bah!

Hope your back is better. Mine started bothering me Monday and finally Sue talked me into going to the ER this morning since I couldn't walk without extreme pain. They took 5 x-rays and saw just normal stuff, gave me a shot to abate the pain and another to abate the nausea I was about to experience from the painkiller. Then, with Vicodin, Valium, Methocarbamal and 800 Mg Motrin in hand, they sent me home. But not before dozing off after the shots before the x-rays. I dreamt in a matter of minutes that a guinea pig was chasing a large spider across the ER floor to everyone's amusement. Potent drugs = potent dreams.

Eww, blood! I hate being home alone, you're much braver than me if you took a shower. I get so freaked out, it's not even funny. At night, during the day it's no problemo.

Hahaha... I have bled like that before and when I was younger I had this weird thing about only owning and using white bath towels. Yea, it wasn't pretty.
I hate being home alone, I really do! Here's to husband's speedy return home!
*hugs*

So, um, yeah...just stopped by. Thanks for visiting my blog. Dude, seriously? That much blood? You may need an Epilady. (Remember those?)

Oh, and by the way...if you are taking high doses of Ibuprofen for the tailbone pain, it will make you more susceptible to bleeding. I had a nasty experience donating blood once.

I totally cut myself in my bath too! What's the deal?

The dog, though ... the dog with blood would COMPLETELY freak me out.

Our Westie licks the lotion off my legs - very annoying and because of it my skin is ALWAYS dry.

Oh you poor thing! That would freak me out too! Especially the dog-licking-it-up part. *shudder*

BTW, I tagged you on my blog today. If you're not busy and need something to write about. :)
